Terms of Service

Last updated: July 10, 2026 · Effective immediately upon use of the platform.

Important — Not Legal Advice

NEST and its digital assistant Chloe provide general educational information about estate planning only. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice, creates an attorney-client relationship, or substitutes for advice from a licensed California attorney. All legal services are provided solely by Rinelli Law Group, a licensed law firm in the State of California.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the NESTplatform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, and attorneys who access the Platform.

NEST is operated by Rinelli Law Group("Firm," "we," "us," or "our") to facilitate estate planning services in the State of California, United States of America. The Platform is intended solely for use by residents of the United States.

2. Description of Services

NEST provides a guided digital intake process for living trust estate planning, including:

  • A structured intake questionnaire guided by Chloe, an AI-powered digital assistant.
  • Secure document collection and storage.
  • Electronic execution of a retainer agreement pursuant to applicable law.
  • Case status tracking and communication between client and attorney.
  • Scheduling of attorney consultations and Notary Public appointments.

All legal services — including the review of intake information, preparation of trust documents, and legal advice — are provided exclusively by licensed attorneys at Rinelli Law Group. The Platform is a technology tool that facilitates, but does not replace, the attorney-client relationship.

3. No Legal Advice — Unauthorized Practice of Law

Chloe, the AI digital assistant embedded in this Platform, provides general educational information about estate planning concepts only. Chloe is not an attorney and does not provide legal advice. Specifically, Chloe:

  • Will not interpret laws or statutes as applied to your specific situation.
  • Will not make legal decisions on your behalf (e.g., per stirpes vs. per capita distribution).
  • Will defer all specific legal questions to a licensed attorney at Rinelli Law Group.

Use of this Platform does not create an attorney-client relationship with NEST or its technology providers. An attorney-client relationship is established only upon execution of a retainer agreement with Rinelli Law Group and confirmation of payment.

In accordance with the California Business and Professions Code § 6125 et seq. and the California Rules of Professional Conduct, no unauthorized practice of law occurs on this Platform. All legal work is performed by California State Bar–licensed attorneys.

4. Electronic Signatures and Records

By using the electronic signature feature on this Platform, you consent to the use of electronic signatures and records in accordance with:

  • The Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act), 15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.
  • The Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), as adopted by California under California Civil Code § 1633.1 et seq.

Your electronic signature is legally binding to the same extent as a handwritten signature. We capture and store your signature, full name, timestamp (UTC), and IP address for audit and legal compliance purposes. You may withdraw your consent to electronic signatures by contacting us at info@nest-ai.us, in which case your intake process must be completed in person.

5. Notarization — In-Person Requirement

Notarization of estate planning documents (including living trusts) in the State of California requires in-person attendance before a commissioned Notary Public, pursuant to California Government Code § 8200 et seq.

This Platform does not offer Remote Online Notarization (RON). Attorney consultation sessions conducted through the Platform are for informational and advisory purposes only and do not constitute or replace notarial acts. Notary Public appointments scheduled through the Platform are in-person appointments at a location designated by Rinelli Law Group.

6. Payment Terms

The retainer fee for estate planning services is a flat fee communicated to you at the time of engagement. Payment is processed via Zelle using the reference code generated by the Platform. By submitting payment, you authorize Rinelli Law Group to apply the retainer fee to your matter.

  • This Platform does not process credit card or ACH payments and is therefore not in scope for PCI-DSS compliance.
  • Payment is considered received only upon confirmation by Rinelli Law Group staff.
  • Refund and cancellation policies are governed by your executed retainer agreement.
